Temple History

 

The name Kemet was unanimously voted on by the members. Kemet was the most advanced ancient civilization in Egypt. The word Kemet means “Black Land”, so named for the rich dark soil along the Nile River where the first settlements began.

On January 30th, 2021 history was made, when Kemet Temple No. 263, was officially chartered by the Imperial Potentate John T. Chapman.
